We have already reported that Rana Daggubati’s initiation, Mana Madras Kosam, turned out to be quite successful and is helping out people stranded in Chennai big time. Recently, Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan has donated 25 lakhs to Ramanaidu Charitable Trust for Chennai flood relief efforts.
“Hrithik Roshan demonstrated his commitment and his compassion to Chennai relief efforts initiated by Ramanaidu Charitable Trust by this donation. We are grateful to Hrithik for his support” said Rana Daggubati. He also added, “It is inspiring and happy to see support coming from all quarters. It is an arduous task for all of us and we need to step up and help with the recovery by contributing in whatever way we can.”
Ramanaidu charitable trust, with backing from quite a few stars, has been actively engaged in Chennai flood relief operations, providing many victims with food, water, medicines and clothing for over a week now.
