He is now mired in controversy after his comments about one of the contestants did not sit well with many. While interacting with a contestant, Navdeep spoke about people from small towns and referred to them as Oorlanundi Vastaru.
This remark did not go down well with several viewers, leading to heavy trolling. Navdeep later took some time off, clarified the situation, and even apologized for his comments.
In a special video he released, Navdeep clarified that he did not intend to insult people from villages and that his words were blown out of proportion, stressing that there was nothing more to it.
