World Book of Records Celebrates Balakrishna’s 50-Year Career in Cinema

In April 2025, Telugu actor Nandamuri Balakrishna was awarded the Padma Bhushan, one of India’s highest civilian honours. Today, he has received yet another remarkable recognition: the World Book of Records, London has included him in their Gold Edition for an extraordinary career spanning 50 years as a lead actor in Indian cinema.

Along with celebrating his cinematic journey, the citation also acknowledges his dedication as Chairman of the Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital & Research Institute for 15 years, highlighting his social contributions alongside his achievements on the big screen.

He is currently busy with the shoot for Akhanda 2: Thaandavam, and he also has a project with Gopichand Malineni in the pipeline. Fans of the star can look forward to more updates on his upcoming projects.
