Kollywood star director Atlee Kumar is currently helming the most eagerly awaited pan-India sci-fi adventurous thriller, tentatively titled AA22xA6. The film features Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone in lead roles, while Mrunal Thakur, Rashmika Mandanna, and Janhvi Kapoor will also be seen in pivotal roles.
Atlee was the special guest at the Bengaluru Open 2025 Pickleball tournament that took place on Friday. Speaking on the sidelines of the event, Atlee opened up about AA22xA6 and made some interesting statements.
When asked about AA22xA6’s status, Atlee said that the shooting is going well as planned. “God is so kind. Every step is a baby step. This genre of film has no Bible. We have to incorporate a lot of Bibles and a lot of work pipelines. We are discovering everything, and we’re trying to pull something bigger for the audience, to give them a new taste, a new visualization. God is so kind. I think everything is falling in place,” said the star director.
When asked if he is not nervous about the risk of helming such a huge, ambitious project like AA22xA6, Atlee stated, “It is not a risk. I’m really enjoying the process. I’m trying to do something which is going to be very new, very intriguing, and very addictive to watch.” He went on to tell fans and audiences to wait for a few more months to witness the world he’s trying to build.
