After the failure of Laila, Vishwak Sen has moved on to his next film, Funky, directed by KV Anudeep. Kayadu Lohar plays the female lead in this project.
The makers had initially planned to release the film in February 2026, but the latest buzz suggests they’re now aiming for a release this year itself. Reports say the team is considering a Christmas week release, though an official announcement is yet to be made.
Funky is jointly produced by Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments and Sai Soujanya of Fortune Four Cinemas, with music composed by Bheems Ceciroleo.
