The much-awaited theatrical trailer for acclaimed Kollywood star Vijay Sethupathi’s Viduthalai Part 2 was unveiled last night in Chennai. The trailer highlights the origins and world of the protagonist, Perumal Vaathiyar, essayed by the Makkal Selvan.
Viduthalai Part 2 trailer showcases the rise of Perumal Vaathiyar from a workers union leader to a left-wing rebel leader dreaded by the Tamil Nadu government and police authorities. Popular comedian turned hero Soori makes a comeback in this crime drama as Kumaresan. The trailer is gripping and packed with hard-hitting drama and dialogues expected in a Vetrimaaran directorial.
Manju Warrier, Bhavani Sre, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Rajiv Menon, Balaji Sakthivel, and others play crucial roles in the movie. This sequel to the acclaimed crime drama, Viduthalai Part 1, will release in theaters on December 20. Legendary music composer Ilayaraaja has composed the music. The film will have a simultaneous release in Telugu.
