Maverick director SS Rajamouli created a huge impact with RRR in Tollywood, and the film went on to become the first Telugu movie to win an Oscar. Just like in India, the movie built a strong fan base in Western countries too. Even after three years, it still stays in the news because many fans, including international celebrities, continue to talk about it.
The latest to join the list is American actor, producer and writer Jesse Eisenberg. As his new film Now You See Me: Now You Don’t hits theatres this Friday, he spoke to Bombay Times and shared his thoughts on RRR.
“RRR was incredible and had an interesting mix of our style of filmmaking and, of course, the flavour of an Indian film. Every American has seen RRR,” he said.
His comment once again shows how far the film has reached and how Rajamouli, Ram Charan and Jr NTR have earned fans across the world.
Meanwhile, Rajamouli is currently busy shooting SSMB29 with superstar Mahesh Babu. The film is being made on a massive budget, and the title reveal is set for November 15, 2025, at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. Fans are waiting with excitement to see what Rajamouli has planned.
