Telusu Kada turned out to be a big flop at the box office, disappointing Siddhu Jonnalagadda once again. Though the concept was very interesting, the manner in which it was narrated by debutant Nirajakona disappointed both critics and audiences.
The film was out of theatres within just a week of its release and is now all set to stream on Netflix from October 14, 2025. Raashii Khanna and Srinidhi Shetty played female leads.
There is curiosity to see how the film will fare on OTT, as the backdrop and story quite suit the sensibilities of the web audience.
Whether the conversational style of narration will impress OTT viewers remains to be seen. Thaman composed the music, and Telusu Kada was made on a decent budget but ended up as the last venture for its makers.
Sidhu Jonnalagadda has faced another flop after Jack with Telusu Kada. It remains to be seen whether he can bounce back, at least on OTT.
