Suriya is supposed to do Vaadi Vaasal with sensational filmmaker Vetrimaaran, who is cementing his position in the industry with each movie. The director is now focusing on his next release, Viduthalai 2. The cop action drama is taking more time, and hence, Suriya’s film with Vetrimaaran didn’t take off.
Vetrimaaran has now revealed a crazy update about Vaadi Vaasal. He said, “Even Valaipechu (Producer) said we can rename the movie Moodi Vaasal as we have not started the movie yet. But we will commence the filming very soon after Viduthalai’s completion.” Many believed that Vaadi Vaasal was shelved as there were many delays, but now Vetrimaaran has put a full stop to all the rumors.
Due to the difficulty involved in shooting Jallikattu portions, the team decided to rely on extensive CG work. GV Prakash Kumar will compose the tunes for this rural action drama. Kalaipuli S Thanu will bankroll it under the banner of V Creations.
