Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar has become one of the most followed actresses in Tamil cinema. She is doing interesting films and will once again will be seen in a challenging role in Maari 2.

Speaking in an interview, Varu said that she has no scenes opposite Sai Pallavi in this film. Sai Pallavi is making her Tamil debut with Maari2 which is being directed by Balaji Mohan.

Dhanush plays the main lead in this film which is up for a release this Friday.
