Amid high expectations and a positive buzz, Dhanush, Nagarjuna, and Rashmika’s much-talked-about socio-political thriller, Kuberaa, was released in cinemas worldwide a few hours ago. The audiences’ response to the initial shows of this Shekar Kammula directorial has been quite good.
As per the latest updates, Kuberaa’s satellite and OTT rights have been acquired by leading Telugu entertainment channel Star Maa and the streaming giant, Amazon Prime Video, respectively. The film is rumored to have recovered close to Rs 65 crore, which is almost half of its budget (Rs 120 Cr), from the OTT and satellite rights deals.
Kuberaa also has popular Bollywood actor Jim Sarbh in a negative role. The film is bankrolled by senior producers Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao in association with Shekar Kammula’s Amigos Creations banner. Devi Sri Prasad is the film’s music composer.
