Acclaimed Sandalwood actor-filmmaker Upendra’s UI is one of the most eagerly awaited movies from the Kannada film industry this year. The film is a surrealist action thriller film set in a futuristic backdrop. With Upendra donning the director’s hat once again, the film has caught everyone’s attention, and there’s a decent buzz around UI.
UI’s team recently unveiled a special poster to announce the film’s release plans. This high budget entertainer is scheduled to hit theaters in October. Even though the makers are yet to confirm the exact date of release, the latest buzz in film circles has it that UI will be released during the Dasara festive season.
UI is being produced by Lahari Films, G Manoharan, and Venus Entertainers, K P Sreekanth, while Naveen Manoharan is the co-producer. Sunny Leone, Reeshma Nanaiah, Murali Sharma, Nidhi Subbaiah, Sadhu Kokila, Murali Krishna, and Indrajit Lankesh play prominent roles in the movie. Kantara fame Ajaneesh B Loknath is scoring the soundtrack.
