KP Chowdary, also known as Sunkara Krishna Prasad Chowdary, hailing from Khammam district, was found dead in Goa. The investigation has confirmed that he died by suicide.
According to reports, he was deeply distressed following his arrest in a drug case by the Cyberabad Police in 2023. He was the one who distributed Rajinikanth’s Kabali in Telugu and also distributed several Telugu films, including Gabbar Singh, Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, and Arjun Suravaram.
Reports suggest that he had moved to Goa and started a club, but it did not succeed as he had expected. He was also known to have connections with several industry celebrities. His mother, who resides in Palvancha, was informed of his death.
