Her recent release, Sankranthiki Vasthunam, was a phenomenal hit at the box office, grossing over Rs. 300 crores. Within a short time, she also earned the chance to act with the biggest stars, like Mahesh Babu and Thalapathy Vijay.
In a recent interview with the Hindustan Times, Meenakshi revealed an interesting fact about her superhit film, Lucky Baskhar. She said, “Playing a mother was my most challenging aspect. I was worried that people wouldn’t accept me in a mother role if I were not convincing. I didn’t want to not to do justice to Sumathi. I am glad that people owned me as Sumathi. I deserve that role.”
Meenakshi also stated, “As an actor, I’m very happy to have gotten the roles I was offered. 2024 was a milestone year in my career. I got the opportunity to play different roles in the early stages of my career. Many do not get roles like that until they have had certain years of experience or a certain level of positioning.”
