The Telugu Warriors team recorded its consecutive win in the fifth edition of the Celebrity Cricket League at Ranchi, Jharkhand. Led by the Vice Captain Akhil Akkineni in the absence of its captain Victory Venkatesh, the Telugu Warriors proved their might over the Bhojpuri Dabbangs in a one sided match.
Batting first, the Bhojpuri Dabbangs made a total of 155 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Chasing a marginally difficult total, the Telugu Warriors showed no sweat as the openers Sachiin Joshi and Prince pulled off an emphatic victory with their superb innings. Prince scored 61 runs off 48 balls while the Telugu Warriors trump card Sachiin won the Man of the Match trophy for his 77 run knock off 42 balls.The Telugu Warriors will encounter Karnataka Bulldozers in their next match.
