After leaving her fans and critics impressed with her performance in Dulquer Salmaan’s Kaantha, young actress Bhagyashri Borse is eagerly waiting to repeat the magic with her next release, Andhra King Taluka, starring Ram Pothineni as the main lead. The film is set to open in cinemas worldwide on November 27, 2025.
In a recent promotional interview, Bhagyashri opened up about Andhra King Taluka. The gorgeous beauty plays a college-going girl named Mahalaxmi. “My character in AKT is quite significant to the narrative. It’s a character the audience will remember for a long time,” said the talented actress.
Bhagyashri revealed that she instantly loved the story when director Mahesh Babu P narrated it. “When I moved from the North to the South, I witnessed how deeply fans love and worship their stars. Loving someone so much without any personal connection is a beautiful and divine emotion,” she added.
Talking about AKT’s love story, Bhagyashri said that the love story in the film is very pure and soulful. You must have heard songs like Nuvvunte Chaley and Chinni Gundelo. That deep, beautiful emotion of being in love is strongly present in this film,” Bhagyashri affirmed.
Bhagyashri went on to say that working with Ram was an amazing experience. “He is a very energetic performer. I think I matched his energy well. The love story and dialogues between us are beautifully written,” she concluded. Also starring Kannada star Upendra in a key role, AKT is a period rural love story set in the early 2000s. The film is produced under the Mythri Movie Makers banner. Vivek and Mervin composed the music.
