Apart from Baahubali, there is hardly any Telugu film that made a strong impact at box-offices in the North. However, there are a handful of Telugu flicks that are being dubbed into Hindi and are ruling the roost in most North Indians households.

In a latest report published by the Broadcast Audience Research Council India (BARC India), Hindi dubbed versions of Telugu movies like S/O Satyamurthy, Baahubali and Nithiin’s Ishq have topped last week’s most watched movies on television across the North.

A startling fact is that these three Telugu movies have surpassed even the Bollywood biggies like SRK’s Dilwale and the all-time classic Sholay. Most Telugu films are being watched by movie buffs even on YouTube and are garnering millions of hits.
