Srikakulam Sherlock Holmes is an upcoming crime thriller starring Vennela Kishore in the lead role. Written and directed by Writer Mohan, the film is slated for a Christmas release on December 25. It is produced by Vennapusa Ramana Reddy under the banner of Sri Ganapathi Cinemas, with Lasya Reddy presenting it. The makers have unveiled the teaser today.
It begins with the news about the assassination of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi by a suicide bomber. A police officer seeking a clever detective to unravel a criminal case while also wanting to take the credit assigns the task to Srikakulam Sherlock Holmes. Later, the film’s premise is introduced. Vennela Kishore’s portrayal as a detective promises a mix of humor and intellect. He keeps solving cases in his own style, evoking laughs.
Writer Mohan seems to have crafted an engaging story. It is evident that the makers attempted a film like Chiranjeevi’s Chantabbai, promising a blend of comedy and thrills. Sunil Kashyap provided the music, while Mallikarjun N cranked the camera. Srikakulam Sherlock Holmes features Ananya Nagalla and Siya Gautam as the female leads.
Sneha Gupta, Raviteja Mahadyam, Bahubali Prabhakar, and Muralidhar Goud are playing key roles. Vamsi Nandipati, who distributed successful films like Ka, Polimera 2, and Committee Korrollu, is releasing the movie.
