Kollywood star Suriya was last seen in the ambitious period action-fantasy drama, Kanguva. While he has already wrapped up his 44th project under Karthik Subbaraj’s direction, he has now joined forces with comedian turned filmmaker RJ Balaji for his 45th movie.
Suriya45 was launched with a formal pooja ceremony at the iconic Arulmigu Maasani Amman Temple in Anaimalai. Suriya and the film’s core cast and crew members were present at the muhurat ceremony. This as-yet-untitled film’s regular shoot will commence tomorrow in Coimbatore.
Suriya45 is being produced by SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabu under Dream Warrior Pictures. Oscar-winning music composer AR Rahman will score the music for this high-budget action entertainer. The film will have a grand release in the second half of 2025.
