Kollywood star Suriya is currently engrossed in the production of his upcoming film, Kanguva. The female lead in this action-packed drama, directed by Siruthai Siva, is portrayed by Bollywood beauty Disha Patani.
During a recent interview, director Sriram Raghavan, anticipating the release of his next film, Merry Christmas, this Friday, engaged with the media and shared intriguing insights about his national award-winning movie, Andhadhun.
Raghavan revealed that he approached Suriya for Andhadhun and gave him a narration. However, for reasons undisclosed, the collaboration did not come to fruition. Learning of this, fans of Suriya expressed disappointment at the missed opportunity for him to be part of such a compelling narrative.
Meanwhile, Suriya’s Kanguva is in the final stages of production. Produced by Studio Green, the film is slated for release in 38 languages, including IMAX and 3D versions. Stay tuned for further updates.
