Following the demise of former heroine and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, there have been several rumors that a biopic on her life was in the making. However, no filmmaker has made any official announcement regarding the project.
Now, star heroine Trisha revealed her wish to act as Jayalalithaa if ever a biopic is made on her favorite political leader’s life. “If her (Jayalalithaa) life story is being made as a film, I’d love to reprise her role in it. Her loss is irreparable. I’d also like to clear the air that I do not have any political aspirations. I’m happy as an actress and I’d like to continue the same,” Trisha said in an interview while promoting her latest release, Mohini.
