Animated film Mahavatar Narsimha is scripting history with its remarkable run. The movie opened at around Rs. 2 crore gross but now stands tall with a whopping Rs. 300 crore gross worldwide. Despite several new releases occupying the marketplace, Mahavatar Narsimha is holding its ground, registering solid occupancies.
The Telugu dubbed version has also emerged as a huge success, earning handsome profits for its distributors. Mahavatar Narsimha’s Telugu version is now on the verge of surpassing the $1 million mark at the North America box office. At a time when films headlined by even top stars are struggling, Mahavatar Narsimha is creating a rampage thanks to its impactful storytelling and magical visuals.
What’s more impressive is that the Telugu version ($908K) is leading the pack in North America, followed by the Hindi version ($747K). The film is expected to make decent shares for the next two weeks. Mahavatar Narsimha is the first installment in the planned seven-part Mahavatar Cinematic Universe, directed by Ashwin Kumar.
