Tamil star Karthi is a well-known name even in the two Telugu states. The actor has made his Tollywood debut this year with Oopiri and is keen on acting in more straight Telugu movies. In his latest interview, Karthi revealed his dream role and that is to play a farmer on screen.
Karthi said that India is primarily an agricultural country and that even several young software professionals are giving up their high paying jobs and are taking to agriculture these days.
Karthi said that he wants to act in a light-hearted entertainer based on farmers which also gives an inspiring message about farming and motivate normal people to take up agriculture. Let’s hope that Karthi’s wish will come true soon!
