Akshay Kumar’s high-octane action entertainer, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, is gearing up for release during Eid 2024. The latest to be known is that Akshay Kumar will join hands with the famous filmmaker Priyadarshan. The duo has worked on six films till now. Among them, Hera Pheri and Bhool Bhulaiyaa (The Hindi version of Manichitrathazhu) are the biggest blockbusters and have also earned cult status over a period of time.
In a recent interview, Priyadarshan confirmed he is doing a project with Akshay Kumar. The director revealed that the movie will be a horror comedy set in a fantasy world and added that it isn’t a sequel to Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Priyadarshan further stated that it isn’t any remake and added that the story is penned by producer Ekta Kapoor.
Priyadarshan noted that the movie will go on floors in October 2024. When asked about why he hasn’t been doing more films lately, Priyadarshan said that he hadn’t come across exciting scripts.
