When Mirai was first announced, many assumed it would follow the typical path of other adventure films. But the team quickly proved them wrong, first with the teaser and then with the trailer. The visuals blew audiences away, and the surprise grew when it came out that the film was wrapped up on a budget of just around Rs. 60 crore.

Anticipation among fans has been steadily building, and to keep the momentum going, the team has been going all out with promotions across the country.

On the business side, Mirai has already brought in over Rs. 45 crore through non-theatrical rights, a remarkable achievement for a young-hero film. Reports also indicate that the makers have raked in Rs. 20 crore in profit even before the theatrical release, showing that the project is already paying off.

Pulling off this level of business for a relatively small film is no small feat, and it highlights the collective effort of the team. Earnings from the theatrical run will only add to these numbers.

Even before its release, Mirai is being considered a success. With strong word-of-mouth and aggressive promotions in play, the film is expected to make a solid mark at the box office.

Directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni, known for Eagle, the film features Teja Sajja alongside Manchu Manoj, Jagapathi Babu, Shriya Saran, Ritika Nayak, and Jayaram in key roles. Backed by People Media Factory, the music is composed by Gowra Hari.
