Sivakarthikeyan’s latest release, Madharaasi, directed by AR Murugadoss, has been drawing attention in Kollywood. The film pairs him with Rukmini Vasanth, while Vidyut Jammwal steps in as the antagonist.

At the Tamil Nadu box office, the film opened on a strong note. But in the Telugu states, it struggled to find the same connection with audiences. Still, the highlight of Sivakarthikeyan’s week wasn’t the collections, it was the appreciation from the man he has admired since childhood, Superstar Rajinikanth.

The actor couldn’t hold back his excitement and quickly took to Instagram to share the moment. He wrote: “Just received the appreciation for Madharaasi from my idol, my Thalaivar Superstar Rajinikanth sir.”

Rajinikanth’s words were full of warmth: “My god, excellent! Enna performance! Enna actions! Super super SK! Enakku romba pudichirundhadhu. Action hero aagiteenga. God bless, God bless.” He even signed off with his trademark laugh, something Sivakarthikeyan says he’ll never forget.

The Amaran star admitted he was on Cloud Nine after hearing the praise. He expressed his love for the Coolie star by saying, “I love you Thalaivaa!”

For him, it felt like hitting a career jackpot, as valuable as a Rs. 1000 crore milestone. His fans joined the celebration online, filling his posts with love and congratulatory messages.
