Peddi is the next big film coming from Global Star Ram Charan. The sports drama, set against a rural backdrop, is being directed by Buchi Babu Sana. It also marks Janhvi Kapoor’s second Telugu film.

The team recently began a new shooting schedule in Sri Lanka, where a few scenes and a song on the lead pair are being canned. While there, they dropped the film’s first behind-the-scenes (BTS) pictures. They showed DOP Rathnavelu and director Buchi Babu Sana standing in front of a railway tunnel, where they shot some key scenes. Fans can expect more such glimpses soon.

On the other hand, all eyes are on A.R. Rahman’s upcoming Hyderabad concert. There’s a strong buzz that the first song from Peddi will be unveiled exclusively at the event, which is set to take place on November 8, 2025, at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.

Vriddhi Cinemas is producing this biggie in association with Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings. The film also features Shiva Rajkumar, Divyenndu Sharma, and Jagapathi Babu in important roles. The makers have announced March 27, 2026, as the release date, but there’s talk of moving it a day earlier.
