Lekkala Master:
This is another short film in the Katha Sudha series on ETV Win. Released on August 31, 2025, it stars Srinivas Avasarala and Sahasra Sri. Directed by Sreekanth Devarakonda, the movie works to an extent.
Wednesday Season 2 Part 2:
Netflix continues with the second part of its most popular series Wednesday. Headlined by Jenna Ortega, the first part of Season 2 didn’t get as much traction as the first season, and we will have to see how Part 2 performs. It releases on September 3, 2025, and the English series will also be available in Telugu.
Lilo & Stitch:
The American sci-fi comedy film Lilo & Stitch, which made more than a billion dollars at the box office, is now coming to entertain home audiences in India. Jio Hotstar is bringing the movie on September 3, 2025, not only in English but also in Hindi, Kannada, and Tamil. The surprising and disappointing part is that it will not be released in Telugu, and the reason is unknown.
A Minecraft Movie:
After Lilo & Stitch, Jio Hotstar is bringing another Hollywood movie, A Minecraft Movie, headlined by Jason Momoa, our favorite Aquaman. The movie was one of the biggest box office hits and will be available for streaming from September 4, 2025. The disappointing part is that only English and Hindi versions will be made available.
Inspector Zende:
Manoj Bajpayee’s new Hindi movie Inspector Zende, directed by Chinmay Mandlekar, is set for release on September 5, 2025, on Netflix. Produced by Om Raut, it is a comedy thriller, and it will be interesting to see how far it entertains audiences. A Telugu release can be expected, but there is no official word from Netflix at this moment.
Kammattam:
ZEE5 has announced September 5, 2025, as the release date for the crime thriller Kammattam. Sudev Nair, Jeo Baby, and others played key roles in this Malayalam series, which is expected to have a Telugu audio version as well.
Bigg Boss Telugu 9:
The season 9 of the Telugu reality show Bigg Boss, with brand-new participants and mind games, is ready to begin on September 7, 2025. Akkineni Nagarjuna is returning as host, and it will be interesting to see what drama the housemates bring. You can catch it on Jio Hotstar and Star Maa.
