Mollywood star Prithviraj Sukumaran and Maa actress Kajol Devgn come together for the first time in Sarzameen, a patriotic thriller set in the conflict-ridden region of Kashmir. The film marks the feature directorial debut of Kayoze Iran.
An official announcement teaser released today confirms that Sarzameen will skip its planned theatrical release and premiere directly on OTT. The film is set to release on July 25, 2025, exclusively on Jio Hotstar.
The story revolves around an Indian Army officer, played by Prithviraj, and his internal and external battles on and off the field. Kajol is expected to play a key emotional role, while Ibrahim Ali Khan surprises in a negative role as a terrorist, his second digital release this year after Naadiyaan.
