Following his appearance in Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire, Prabhas, the pan-Indian actor, is set to grace the screen once again in Kalki 2898 AD, a mytho sci-fi film directed by Nag Ashwin, with Deepika Padukone playing the female lead.
During a recent interview, the film’s music director, Santhosh Narayanan, expressed admiration for Prabhas, labeling him a phenomenon. Narayanan revealed, “Prabhas is a phenomenon. I am creating something very special for Prabhas’ intro in the movie. I am redoing the intro work as it has to be big, and it has to be mass.” His words have heightened expectations for the film.
Apart from the dynamic duo of Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, this high-budget cinematic endeavor boasts a star-studded cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, Pasupathy, and other notable actors, each playing significant roles. Vyjayanthi Movies is backing this cinematic spectacle, scheduled for a worldwide release in cinemas on May 9, 2024.
