Mahavatar Narsimha zooms past Rs. 275 crores; Next stop Rs. 300 crores

Animated film Mahavatar Narasimha is leaving trade pundits speechless with its dream run. In the last few months, this is the only film that has given profits to all the parties involved. The Hindi version is going bonkers with over Rs. 160 crores nett, while the Telugu dubbed version has also emerged as a massive success.

According to the latest update from the makers, Mahavatar Narsimha has grossed over Rs. 278 crores at the worldwide box office. With the release of Coolie and War 2, Mahavatar Narsimha was reduced to just 1300 shows per day, but as the biggies didn’t meet expectations, the showcasing once again increased for the animated movie.

Reportedly, the film will now have close to 5000 shows per day, indicating the tremendous demand among the audience even weeks after its release. The Telugu version is on track to hit the prestigious $1 million mark at the North American box office.
