Released in 2014, maverick director Ram Gopal Varma’s low budget experimental horror thriller, Ice Cream, even though ended up as a disappointing venture at the box-office, it introduced a new style of filmmaking using the Flocam and Flosound technologies to Tollywood.
Two years after its release, Ice Cream has been dubbed into Tamil and titled Chocobar, the film will be released on August 26th. Chocobar stars Navdeep and Tejaswi Madiwada, who are also well-known in Tamil. We will have to wait to know whether this Tamil version will bring in the much needed hit for RGV.
