Popular Tollywood and Kollywood actress Regina Cassandra had made her Bollywood debut with a bold role in Sonam Kapoor’s Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga. In the movie, Regina played Sonam’s love interest, and the film’ unique storyline showcasing the romantic relationship between two young women has been well appreciated.

Released just over a week ago, ELKDTA has so far collected Rs 20 crore nett worldwide. Although the film has failed to set the cash registers ringing, it had just bagged a rare honor at the Oscars. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences (AMPAS) has requested ELKDTA’s makers to submit the film’s script for the Oscar Library.

ELKDTA has been directed by Shelly Dhar Chopra and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. The film also stars senior Bollywood hero Anil Kapoor, who shared screen space with his daughter for the first time, and award-winning actor Rajkummar Rao.
