Everyone’s favorite, Victory Venkatesh, made his digital debut with the crime and family drama Rana Naidu. It also starred Rana Daggubati in another lead role. The series became the much-talked-about topic when released due to its bold content and profanity. Venky, known for delivering family-friendly content, received flak for being part of Rana Naidu.
Today, the makers unveiled season 2’s teaser at an event in Mumbai. The second installment looks like a full-on action ride involving Rana and Venky. Rana Naidu (Rana), the go-to guy for Bollywood celebrities, takes up one last assignment, but his wife, played by Surveen Chawla, objects to his decision.
Naga (Venkatesh) makes a dashing entry, and he says that if there is someone who can destroy Rana, it has to be his father (Naga). Arjun Rampal and Kriti Kharbhanda are the new additions to the cast. Considering the feedback, the makers toned down the adult content in Rana Naidu 2, and the focus will be more on action elements. Rana himself revealed the same in a recent interview.
Show creator Karan Anshuman stated that season 2’s story wouldn’t be limited to the father-son conflict and that their team wants to offer only the best to the audience. The streaming date is yet to be revealed.
