Sandeep Reddy Vanga joined hands with PAN India star Prabhas for Spirit, an intense cop action entertainer. It’s been many years since the project was announced, but it is yet to go on floors due to Prabhas’ busy schedule. The filming will begin soon, and according to a report in Mid-day, Sandeep Vanga is planning to create a new universe starting with Spirit after announcing the Animal franchise.
The report mentioned, “According to industry sources, filming of the Prabhas and Triptii Dimri starrer is slated to begin in February 2026. Insiders say discussions are underway about embedding a cliffhanger at the end of Spirit, thus setting the stage for the second chapter. The makers are planning to build a world centered on Prabhas’ cop. They are exploring whether the first part can end at a cliffhanger and leave the audience eager for what comes next.”
It is said that the first schedule will commence in Mumbai, after which the team will head to Mexico, Thailand, and Indonesia. As per the report, Prabhas will be seen in two distinct avatars, and the makers will shoot a flashback scene in the Mumbai leg. T-Series, in association with Bhadrakali Pictures, will bankroll this big-ticket entertainer. Harshavardhan Rameshwar is the music composer.
