Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth’s unexpected political speech during NT Ramarao’s centenary celebrations in Vijayawada has snowballed into a major controversy. Several YSRCP leaders have been on an intense verbal attack on Rajini for the past couple of days.
In a fresh controversy, senior actor, YSRCP supporter and APFTDC Chairman Posani Krishna Murali has targeted Rajini. In a counter to senior producer Ashwini Dutt’s satires against the YS Jagan government for not presenting the Nandi Awards, Posani surprisingly dragged Megastar Chiranjeevi into the whole controversy.
“Rajinikanth is a Superstar only for the Tamils. We Telugu people also have a Superstar and his name is Chiranjeevi. Everyone knows the kind of close bond Chiranjeevi shares with YS Jagan. The CM respects Chiranjeevi on par with his father YS Rajasekhara Reddy,” Posani said. Whether or not Chiru or the Mega family members will respond to Posani’s comments remains to be seen.
