The movie was released in Telugu under the title Sir Madam. In Tamil, the movie made Rs. 75 crore globally, with Rs. 50 crore alone from Tamil Nadu.
Produced by Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan under their Sathya Jyothi Films banner, the movie has a soundtrack composed by Santhosh Narayanan.
