Tollywood star Venkatesh is set to return to the OTT world with the second season of his acclaimed Netflix show, Rana Naidu. Also starring Venky’s nephew Rana Daggubati in a lead role, the series is all set to debut on the streaming giant on June 13, 2025.
In a latest interview with IANS, Venkatesh, who will reprise Naga Naidu in Rana Naidu Season 2, described his character as a “man of chaos.” Venky also stated that he and Naga Naidu share a deep bond with their families. Venky went on to say that while he considers himself someone who values structure, stability, and predictability, Naga thrives on chaos and drama.
“I’m predictable, Naga isn’t. I like structure and stability. Naga? He lives for drama. I don’t play mind games, but Naga, he’s full of surprises. You never really know what he’s thinking,” Venky said, further adding that while he prefers straightforwardness, Naga Naidu is deep into mind games and unpredictable surprises. “There’s always something simmering with Naga. You can’t look away,” said Venky.
Rana Naidu Season 2 also features Arjun Rampal, Surveen Chawla, Kriti Kharbanda, and others in lead roles. Directed by Karan Anshuman and Suparn Verma, Rana Naidu is an official adaptation of the 2013 American TV series ‘Ray Donovan.’
