Small-budget movie 8 Vasantalu, backed by Mythri Movie Makers, has hit the big screens today. Phanindra Narsetti, the person behind the famous short film ‘Madhuram’, is the director. Due to the filmmaker’s recent controversial comments, the film hogged the limelight.
The latest update reveals that Netflix bagged 8 Vasantalu’s post-theatrical streaming rights. The same was revealed during the opening credits of the film. 8 Vasantalu opened to mixed reviews all over due to its over-melodramatic nature and sluggish narration.
The project is headlined by Mad fame Ananthika Sanilkumar. The romantic drama also stars Ravi Teja Duggirala and Hanu Reddy in significant roles. Kanna Pasunoori and Sanjana played supporting characters. Hesham Abdul Wahab composed the tunes.
