Before releasing the action saga War 2, the renowned Bollywood production house Yash Raj Films brought us a musical romance – Saiyaara. Led by Aneet Padda and Ahaan Panday, the blockbuster is directed by Mohit Suri, well known for Aashiqui 2.
The movie, which made more than Rs. 580 crore at the box office, recently completed its 50-day theatrical run and became the highest-grossing romantic drama this year. It is now in the headlines for a good reason.
Netflix will stream the film from September 12, 2025. It’s coming in Hindi with English subtitles, and the makers are likely to confirm it officially any day now.
As the movie, which was highly celebrated for its music and Aneet’s performance, is releasing on OTT, its response from home audiences remains to be seen. Will they give it a thumbs up, or call it overrated?
