Released on December 5, 2024, Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s Pushpa 2: The Rule went on to amass close to a whopping Rs 1,800 crore and emerged as the second highest grossing Indian movie of all time. The pan-India action drama made its OTT debut on Netflix on January 30, 2025, with additional footage that was missing in the theatrical version.
And Pushpa 2 has begun wreaking havoc on Netflix. Apart from Indian fans, even foreign movie lovers are in awe of the movie’s action sequences. After setting the social media on fire, Pushpa 2 has taken Netflix by storm. The film is already topping the global charts on the streaming giant.
Also starring Mollywood star Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles, Pushpa 2: The Rule was produced under the Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings banners. Devi Sri Prasad is the film’s music composer, while Sam CS also contributed with his background score.
