Even as the entire country is celebrating the historic Oscar moments for Naatu Naatu and The Elephant Whisperers, India’s All That Breathes has given a heartbreak as it lost the Best Documentary Feature award to Navalny. The Shaunak Sen’s poignant documentary highlighted the burning issue of pollution in the Indian capital New Delhi.

Daniel Roher’s Navalny chronicles the dramatic life and assassination of the Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny. Musician Questlove and actor Riz Ahmed presented the award to Daniel Roher. The 95th Academy Awards is currently underway at the iconic Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California.

It’s not all over yet. India has more to look forward to at the Oscars night. Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone will be presenting one of the awards at the ceremony.
