Young Kannada actress Rukmini Vasanth stole everyone’s hearts with her mesmerizing beauty and graceful presence in Rakshit Shetty’s acclaimed romantic drama franchise, Sapta Saagaradaache Ello – Side A and Side B. Rukmini became a hot favorite for the youths, who often take to social media and call her their ‘crush.’
In a recent interview, Rukmini opened up about being called a ‘crush’ and gave a mature response. “Being called a ‘crush’ is quite flattering, but I do not think much about it. I believe such adulation is temporary, and it changes with time. But I am quite happy with one thing. Many people still call me Priya, my name in Sapta Saagaradaache Ello. They fell in love with my character. I was apprehensive about how audiences will receive my character initially. It was heartening to see them admiring such a simple, down-to-earth character,” said the talented actress.
Talking about movies, Rukmini revealed that she is eagerly waiting to act in a romantic comedy in the future. Her latest release, Rishab Shetty’s Kantara Chapter 1, has emerged as a huge money-spinner at the box office. She will next be seen in two of the most eagerly awaited pan-India biggies, Yash’s Toxic and NTR’s Dragon.
