Legendary poet, Bollywood lyricist and filmmaker Gulzar, who won the prestigious Oscar for Slumdog Millionaire in 2008, has unveiled the first look poster of Bollywood actors Gulshan Devaiah and Saiyami Kher’s 8 A. M. Metro. The film is directed by Raj, who had earlier helmed the acclaimed Telugu film, Mallesham.
8 AM Metro is an emotional roller-coaster. It showcases the story of two strangers who inadvertently bump into each other in the metro and strike up an unlikely friendship, in the process finding themselves and each other. During the film’s poster launch, Gulzar Saab recollected how he felt a pinch at his heart when he read the film’s script for the first time and how it instantly inspired him to pen 6 of his poems for the film.
8 AM Metro’s music is composed by Mark K. Robin. Kausar Munir has penned the lyrics. The film is slated for release on May 19 in cinemas across India via Shiladitya Bora’s Platoon Distribution house.
