Pawan Kalyan’s much-anticipated OG is set to light up the big screens starting tomorrow. The gangster action drama directed by Sujeeth features Emraan Hashmi as the antagonist. Sriya Reddy played a pivotal role in this biggie, and in her recent interview with Filmfare, the actress shared interesting details about her role and look in the film.
Sriya Reddy said, “My character has a lot of emotions, and if you add power to the role, you can imagine the magnitude. The beauty of the role lies in its depth. The multiple layers and the emotional depth bring raw intensity to the part. I played the part without makeup. Apparently, it was cameraman Ravi K. Chandran’s idea. He wanted the character to look authentic and natural. I, too, wanted my vision for the role to be real, so I was elated, too.”
Talking about her working experience with Pawan Kalyan, the Salaar actress said, “He is a man of few words. We are not garrulous. I knew that he’s coming to the film sets, putting aside his political assignments. So I don’t want to disturb him. But we spoke about so many things other than films on the sets.”
