Young Kollywood sensation Pradeep Ranganathan scored two massive blockbusters with Love Today and Dragon. Much to the shock of fans, his upcoming films, LIK (Love Insurance Kompany) and Dude, were both announced for a Diwali 2025 release. This rare phenomenon not only surprised fans but also the general audience.
Now, Pradeep Ranganathan has issued a clarification, though the suspense continues. Speaking at an award ceremony, he said, “Either LIK or Dude will be released for Diwali. Only one film will arrive. I am highly confident that we will celebrate the festival together.”
Though Pradeep confirmed there won’t be a clash between his films, he did not reveal which one will hit theatres this Diwali. LIK, directed by Vignesh Shivan, is a sci-fi romantic entertainer, while Dude, directed by debutant Keerthiswaran, is a youthful entertainer. LIK features Krithi Shetty as the female lead, while Mamitha Baiju is the leading lady in Dude.
