Ram Pothineni will next be seen in the movie Andhra King Taluka. The film delves into the powerful fan culture surrounding movie stars in Andhra Pradesh, showcasing the identity and frenzy that fans build around their idols. The movie is directed by Mahesh Babu P., of Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty fame.
The shoot is in its penultimate stage. It was already revealed that the first single will be out on July 18, 2025. While media reports had previously suggested that Ram Pothineni had turned lyricist and Anirudh would be lending his vocals for the melody, the makers have now officially confirmed the same.
For the first time in his career, Ram has penned lyrics for a song. The makers assured that this particular track will be remembered for a long time. The Vivek–Mervin duo is composing the tunes. The movie also stars Upendra and Bhagyashri Borse in pivotal roles. Mythri Movie Makers is backing the film. The release date is yet to be announced.
