Tamil cinema stalwarts Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth are set to star in a multi-starrer soon. But before that, Kamal will produce a film featuring Rajini in the lead role under Raaj Kamal Films International banner. The official announcement is out now, and the project is tentatively titled #Thalaivar173.
We reported earlier that Sundar C had been holding talks with Rajini for some time, and the latest update confirms him as the director. The big-ticket film is said to be a Sundar C–mark entertainer laced with commercial elements.
It has also been revealed that #Thalaivar173 will hit the big screens for Pongal 2027. Announcing the news, the team shared an adorable picture that features Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Sundar C, and R. Mahendran. Red Giant Movies will handle the distribution. More details will be revealed soon.
