Kollywood star Ajith’s passion for racing and motorsports needs no introduction. The actor is currently in Dubai to participate in the prestigious Michelin 20th 24H Dubai championship. A video of Ajith’s car crashing during a practice session went viral a couple of days ago. Thankfully, the actor escaped unhurt in what could have been a serious mishap.

And here’s a massive update for all Thala fans. Interacting with the media on the sidelines of the championship, Ajith said that he will not sign any new film until the racing season concludes. He went on to say that he plans to pursue motorsports not just as a driver but as a team owner as well. “Until the racing season is on, I won’t be signing any films. Probably between October and March, before the racing season commences, I will act in films so that no one needs to worry, and I can be at full throttle when I race,” said the Vidaa Muyarchi star.

The Michelin 20th 24H Dubai championship is set to take place on January 11 and 12. Ajith has teamed up with popular racers Mathieu Detry, Fabian Duffieux, and Cameron McLeod for the ongoing edition. On the work front, Ajith will have two major releases in 2025, Vidaa Muyarchi and Good Bad Ugly. Fans are eagerly waiting to witness the actor set the silver screens and the racing track on fire this year.
