Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur’s Familly Star is all set to hit the big screens this Friday. Parasuram, whose earlier film was with Superstar Mahesh Babu, wielded the megaphone for Family Star.
Vijay, Mrunal, and the film’s producer, Dil Raju, are promoting the movie quite nicely. In a recent interview, Vijay Deverakonda revealed that “Govardhan” was the initial choice for the film’s title. Govardhan is Vijay’s character name in the movie. Vijay Deverakonda revealed that they actually wanted a title that would strike a chord with the majority of the family audience.
Vijay added that the title should represent someone in every household who toils hard to keep his/her family in a comfortable position. This is why the makers chose Family Star instead of Govardhan. Gopi Sundar composed the tunes for this family drama.
